We’ve got you covered with our convenient helium gas tank hire service – available 7 days a week from our Birkdale location.

Helium – also known as balloon gas – is an inert, non-flammable, colourless, odourless and tasteless gas, ideal for inflating latex and foil balloons safely and effectively. Whether you’re a DIY decorator, party host, or professional event stylist, our hire tanks are a simple, affordable way to bring your balloon vision to life. 

Important points to note:

• We use the same helium gas in our professional balloon installations. It is not a mixed gas like those available at large chain retail stores.
• A 28cm balloon can float 8-12 hours depending on environment.
• Optimum temperature is 22-24 degrees, no direct sunlight. (Where these conditions exist, it may just effect the float time).
• Helium balloons should be inflated as close to the event time as possible for best results. 
• Allow 45-60 minutes per 100 balloons to inflate.

• Deposit required: A $100 refundable deposit is payable at the time of collection
• ID check: A valid photo ID must be shown to hire the tank
• Transport safety: Please ensure you have a safe way to secure the tank in your boot during transport
